Research in the Kumbhar group involve the synthesis, complete structural characterization {elemental analysis, UV-VIS, IR, NMR, TGA, DSC, CV, spectroelectrochemistry, Fluorescence (steady state as well as time resolved) and single crystal x-ray analysis} of coordination complexes and their applications in biology ( DNA, Aβ-peptide, and gene delivery systems), catalysis ( water splitting, proton coupled electron transfer ) and solid state (proton conductivity)
